LivedHealth Funders

We would like to recognise the generous support of these trusts and foundations who make our work possible.

Axis Foundation

Since 2008, they have funded projects that will have a sustained positive impact on the communities that matter. In evidence of their dedication, they are celebrating having donated over £2m to over 270 causes, like LivedHealth. We are grateful to the Axis Foundation for continuing their support of our MS video programme.

Westfield Health

For over 100 years, Westfield Health have been supporting people and businesses to take a proactive and preventative approach to their health. They embody their ‘giving-back’ approach, having donated over £15m in just the last 20 years to health-related non-profits.

National Lottery Community Fund

National Lottery funding is proud to be for everyone. The projects and activities they contribute to will transform communities, lives and the the future, all thanks to anyone who purchases a National Lottery ticket. Over £752m was awarded to causes, such as LivedHealth, in 2020/21.

Postcode Neighbourhood Trust

Funded entirely by players of the People’s Postcode Lottery, Postcode Neighbourhood Trust is a charitable organisation awarding grants to meaningful causes, such as LivedHealth. In 2021, over 3,500 organisations received their share of almost £17 million to help fund their projects.

Warburtons

As a fifth generation family company, Warburtons prioritises community wellbeing. Community investment funds are allocated to local bakeries and depots; we have Wakefield and Howden regional bakery site to thank for their generous donation to LivedHealth’s cause.

Stephen Lloyd Awards

These awards are the legacy of their namesake who spent his legal career at Bates Wells providing support for small projects with big potential. As the inventor of community interest companies (CICs), Stephen Lloyd recognised the value of organisations driving social change. From almost 80 entrants, LivedHealth was chosen as a finalist for these annual awards in 2022.

The Sylvia & Colin Shepherd Charitable Trust

Founded in 1973 by Sylvia and Colin Shepherd, this York-based trust is dedicated to supporting their local community. The Shepherds' success in the building industry made them an esteemed family in the area. Much of their wealth is invested in local organisations, particularly those - such as LivedHealth - dedicated to supporting people with health conditions or disabilities.
